No Dogs on the Recreation Ground
Histon & Impington Recreation Ground is a designated sports ground and is used for playing a variety of sports and other events by all ages. Dogs, therefore, must not be exercised on the sports ground and are not permitted onto the sports ground even whilst under control on a lead. Should your dog inadvertently gain access to the ground and foul any of the areas, you are responsible for clearing up the mess. Please do not leave it, as it is a health hazard and unpleasant for users of the facility. This is of course, with the exception of guide dogs.
Sporting games can be frustrating sometimes but remember the facilities are for the enjoyment of everyone, so please avoid the use of bad language. At all times participants in sporting contests and occasional users of the facilities are urged to show courtesy and respect for others.
At a recent Committee meeting and following a fire risk assessment, it was agreed to designate the Recreation Ground as a ‘no smoking’ site.
