The Parish Council wish to thank those local organisations and residents who are assisting with drafting the terms of reference for the feasibility study. The pump track is not a Parish Council project, and Council would not take any decisions on the provision of a pump track on any Parish Council land, without consulting with the residents of the villages.
The Parish Council wish to clarify questions around the Recreation Development Group (RDG) paper being presented to the March Full Council meeting. The paper (link here) is requesting the support of the Parish Council to appoint a professional advisor to help progress a Masterplan. Potential projects covered include 12 New Road, Parish Council Compound, Parish Council Office, car park and access, surface water management, play area, tennis courts, Pavilion and perimeter path. The current proposal to Council does not include the grassed areas which is still the subject of a feasibility study as approved at the September Full Council meeting.
The Parish Council are working with local organisations and residents to draft the terms of reference for the feasibility studies. Once the terms of reference are finalised, these will feature on a Full Council agenda for approval and they will cover sites as a whole so any future project on any Parish Council owned site will be able to access the information.
