Key Approvals:
- New Donations and Grants Policy: Enhancing community support
- Service Level Agreements: Updated for better alignment
- Recreation Development Group: Approved motions for dialogue with Trinity around Cambridge Science Park North and seeking quotes for surveyors to gather and collate project requirements
- Histon & Impington Neighbourhood Plan: Continued investigations on the value of this document with five councillors volunteering to help
Funding Wins:
- Section 106 Funds: Approval for support of community organisations
- HI Litter Pickers: £156.70 of funding secured to purchase new equipment
- Recreation Ground Community Room: New blinds approved for Community Room at The Rec
- CAPALC Affiliation Fee 2025/2026: Approved
Community Boost:
- SCDC High Street Fund: Cllr Cahn confirmed funding had been granted to a local HI Street business
- HI Friends: £55k for a new community minibus secured from HI Friends Net Zero Fund, thanks to District Cllr Rixon, Liz Hill (HI Hub), and HIPC staff for their help and support in securing this funding
Special Thanks:
- Resident Groups who are working with HIPC to complete Feasibility Study Framework to consider Pump Track proposals and to support long-term site wide development of local green spaces
